What is Descovo?+
Descovo is a B2B data provider built for AI agents. It gives Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client with header support direct access to 700M+ professional profiles and 50M+ companies. Search by role, seniority, company, industry, and location, then reveal a verified work email or direct phone for the people you choose.
How does MCP work with Descovo?+
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. Descovo runs a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.descovo.com/mcp. Add the URL and your API key in the x-api-key header to your client's config, and your agent can search people, companies, and jobs and reveal contact data inline, without switching tabs or copy-pasting from a dashboard. There is nothing to install.
What does a search cost?+
Search costs 1 credit per profile, company, or job returned; count queries are free. A reveal is charged only for the fields it finds: 2 credits for a work email, 3 for a direct phone, nothing when nothing is found. Ask for both and you pay for both: 5 credits when a work email and direct phone come back together. Narrow first: a tight search returns fewer records and costs less.
How fresh is the contact data?+
Email addresses are validated when you reveal them rather than served from a static cache, and a reveal that finds nothing costs nothing.
What MCP clients does Descovo support?+
Claude Code, Cursor, and any custom MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP with a static x-api-key header. Claude.ai and Claude Desktop remote connectors require OAuth, which Descovo does not yet expose.
How does pricing compare to Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Wiza?+
Most sales intelligence tools charge per seat and use credit systems where a phone number costs several times an email. Descovo has no seat licenses and no minimums: 1 credit per search result, 2 credits per verified work email, 3 per direct phone, and nothing for a reveal that comes back empty.
